Just a quick item, then, because I'll be the first to admit that I haven't really followed One Tree Hill, although I saw it a few times and pretty much get the gist of things. I think I revealed too much. Anyway.
A source within the show told Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello that the seventh season of the CW drama, which hits screens this fall, will start in a pretty familiar fashion. Yep, something like the fifth season--with a flash forward in time. But it won't be as shocking as last time, when the show returned by skipping four years. This time, the source says, the flash forward will be a more convenient one year. And, perhaps, that ushers in what many still call One Tree Hill version 2.0. That, because I'm calling the first flash forward version 1.5--well, it still had roughly the same people, although the older age meant more deeper issues. Of course, we know three new characters will be introduced in the seventh season: diva-slash-model Alexis, Haley's sister Quinn, and Nathan's agent Clayton. (Speaking of which, still no word whether Brian Austin Green is really taking the role.) That changes the dynamic.
But with Lucas and Peyton leaving the show, I somehow think that one-year skip is a means to handle just that. Well, they left at the end of the last season finale, all right, and that's all clear, but I'm feeling it'd be elaborated on by, of all means, flashbacks. Much like what they did before.
